May 15, 2006

Pennsylvania Centre Stage will launch its 2006 season with a top-notch cast in the production of Whose Life Is It Anyway?, May 30 thru June 10, 2006, starring Laurence Lau.

Over the years Lau has appeared in guest starring roles in prime time television series, including Law and Order, Frasier, Diagnosis Murder, Brimstone, Martial Law, and a recurring role on the hit series JAG. Lau has also had long-term contract roles on the daytime series One Life To Live, Another World, and All My Children, where he will always be remembered as one half of All My Children's most beloved high school super couple Greg and Jenny.

Theatre credits include the critically acclaimed off-Broadway hit The Exonerated at the Bleeker Street Theatre in New York, playing the role of Kerry Max Cook of One at the Riverside Theatre in Florida; and most he recently performed in New York at the barrow Group Studio Theatre in a production of Spine, a new play by Bill C. Davis, (Mass Appeal).

In addition to Lau, the show also includes performances by last year's Loves and Hours star Jim Daniels, Fences' Charles Dumas and Alano Miller, Jane Ridley, Will Hutton, Brant Pope, and Richard Nichols, within a cast of sixteen professionals and graduate acting students.

Whose Life Is It Anyway? is one of three Pennsylvania Centre Stage blockbuster shows, May 30 thru July 29, 2006, at the Citizens Bank Theatre, in the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center, 146. S. Allen St., State College, PA.
