of Theatre Alumni are Familiar Faces in Famous Places
Penn State School of Theatre Alumni show up in
some pretty famous places. From movies to television to Broadway, you
may recognize these faces...
TY BURRELL
(’97 M.F.A.) performed Off-Broadway in Burn This with Edward
Norton and on Broadway in Macbeth with Kelsey Grammer. He starred
in the recent film, Dawn of the Dead. Other film credits include
Black Hawk Down and Evolution.
STEVE WILSON
(’97 M.F.A.) was proud to work with Andrew Lloyd Webber for the
Broadway production of By Jeeves and in the Lincoln Center revival
of Stephen Sondheim’s The Frogs, starring Nathan Lane.
AMY WYNN PASTOR
(’99 B.A.) is the on-camera carpenter for Trading Spaces.
FRANKLYN WARFIELD
(’02 B.F.A.) roller skates his way into the hearts of thousands
in the national tour of Starlight Express.
GREASE & OLIVER!
P.J. Baccari (’02 B.F.A.), Matthew Hydzik (’03 B.F.A.), and
Jason Shuffler (’02 B.F.A.) are all appearing in the national tour
of Grease. Marc Ginsburg (’03 B.F.A.) tours with Oliver.
KEEGAN-MICHAEL KEY
(’96 M.F.A.) can be seen on Fox’s “Mad-TV,” and
is now appearing in The Second City’s Romeo and Juliet
Musical at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
URSULA ABBOTT
(’98 B.F.A.) co-hosts Noggin/Nickelodeon’s new “Survivor”-style
TV series, “Girls vs. Boys.”
CARLA J. HARGROVE
(M.F.A.) made her Broadway debut as Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors
currently running at the Virginia Theatre.
