Penn State Alumni Achievement Award Presented to Theatre Grad. Jessica Weiner

10/29/2003—Jessica Weiner (’95 B.A. Theatre), author, motivational speaker and performer, is the recipient of the 2003 Alumni Achievement Award from the Penn State School of Theatre. She is the youngest person to ever receive this award from the College of Arts and Architecture.

Weiner is currently touring the country to promote her new book, A Very Hungry Girl: How I Filled Up on Life…and How You Can Too! She is the founder and president of Parallax, a new media production company she founded in 2000. She previously established a non-profit theatre company in Indianapolis. Current projects include a syndicated television talk show set to air in fall 2004 and a clothing line, Curvy Girl™, for full-figured girls and women.
