Penn State Alum, Keegan-Michael Key, Lands Starring Role as Host of Planet's Funniest Animals

Keegan Michael Key, Penn State School of Theatre '96 M.F.A. graduate, has made some major accomplishments in his acting career, the most recent being a starring role as host of Animal Planet's Planet's Funniest Animals. Host Keegan-Michael Key is best known for his roles on MADtv. Keegan has played such notable characters as "Crazy-as-Hell Guy," "Coach Hines," "Snoop Dog," "Ludacris," and "Brake-Hex-Guy."

In the all-new Planet's Funniest Animals, Keegan promises to pull out all the stops while capturing the "natural" comedy that takes place anywhere from our own back yards to the Australian Outback. Keegan will add his own unique style of commentary and clarification as the clips continue to roll in front of a live audience.

Planet's Funniest Animals has given viewers hours of fun in its six years on the air. As one of Animal Planet's most popular series, the all-new Planet's Funniest Aniamals, has thirteen premiere episodes and two specials that will offer viewers even more of the most comical pratfalls, behaviors, and activities of our animal friends, which have made it one of Animal Planet's most popular series. Planet's Funniest Animals can be seen on Thursdays at 8 p.m., Eastern Time.
