Formerly resident costume designer for the Florida State University/Asolo Theatre Company. Her ten years at the Asolo saw her design over 40 productions including The Matchmaker, Tartuff, Our Country's Good, Hayfever, The Winter's Tale, Picasso at the Lapin Agile and A View from the Bridge.

Barbara has also designed productions such as Prelude to a Kiss at Florida Studio Theatre, Desire Under the Elms and The Illusion at American Stage, Romeo and Juliet at Theatre Works, Brighton Beach Memoirs at Straw Hat and King John at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. She received her undergraduate degree at New England College and her graduate training at the University of Connecticut.
