D.M.A. in conducting from University of Southern California, M.M. in vocal performance from California State University at Chico, B.M. in voice/piano from Michigan State University.

Instrumental Conducting Fellow, The Aspen Music School. Conducting with Rodney Eichenberger and Murray Sidlin. Formerly Director of Opera and Musical Theatre at Ithaca College. Also taught at the University of California, Irvine and Irvine Valley College and others. Veteran conductor of professional, regional, and collegiate musical theatre and opera productions in California, Alaska, Hawaii and New York. Former guest faculty and artist-in-residence, Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival and University of Alaska, Fairbanks, Summer Arts Camp.

Presented the workshop "Bel Canto or Can Belto" at the Internationaler und Interdisziplinarer Kongress und Festival: BROADWAY AN DER RUHR, Dortmund, Germany, June 2000. Co-Director of National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Winter Workshop "Musical Theatre and the Belt Voice: Part II" New York City, January 2001. Formerly Regional Governor of the Northeast Division, NOA. Master classes entitled New Century Sounds in Germany in 2003/2004. Member of Opera America and National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). Formerly Regional Governor of the Northeast Division, National Opera Association (NOA).
