Received her B.A. in Theatre and Dance from the University of California, Santa Cruz, her M.A. in Art from California State University Northridge and is ABD, completing her Ph.D. in Art Education from Penn State.

As an educator, she has taught elementary education, dance, and art in Los Angeles Unified and served as an Arts Administrator for the California Arts Project, advocating for the arts in public education. Her research interest involves the investigation of performance as critical pedagogy. She brings ten years in the motion picture industry experience as a union prop-master on productions such as Moonlighting, NYPD Blue, and Doogie Houser MD. She currently oversees the property construction and management within Penn State’s School of Theatre’s production schedule. Member IATSE local 44.
