Tale of a West Texas Marsupial Girl

Tale of a West Texas Marsupial Girl

Children's Musical
Music and story by Sxip Shirey
Text by Lisa D'Amour

"You cant make the bad stuff go away by holding it inside. . ."

Once upon a time, in a wiggly little Texas town, one day a girl was born. A special girl-smart, clever, curious, and full of fun. But, holy puppy on a peach tree! Will you look at that! She's got a pouch! A better-than-a-backpack, hold things-n-hide things pouch. Meet Marsupial Girl! This story of a very special girl shows us that what is different can most definitely be good. It's a rockin' new musical fable, brimming to the shoopialus pop top with some fine Texas rockabilly music. And a whole mess o' foot stompin', pouch poppin' sounds!
